The main goal of my workshops is to give you the tools to be able to take your own creative style and ability and turn it into your own successful mural business.

My mural workshops takes the design skills you have already and guides you into how you can develop that into your own mural business.

Since setting up my own mural business some years ago I have always been asked by other artists as to how to go about setting up a mural business, and so due to demand I now run my own small groups or one to one murals workshops in Cheshire. In these workshops I pass on all the experiences I have gained in the business of painting designs on to walls!

Having the skills to paint and create designs and images is a fantastic gift, but then taking that and translating that skill on to walls is slightly trickier. But it is also working with the customer and establishing their requirements that takes practice and a structured approach.

All aspects of setting up your own mural business will be covered in my workshop day or one to one sessions including:

Marketing and Advertising Your Business
Establishing what your customer wants - and how to deal with an enquiry
Producing designs and quotations for your customer
Pricing of work and jobs
What preparation is needed before undertaking a mural
Taking your current artistic skill and developing it to competently produce a mural
Key ways of how to make sure your mural on the day goes to plan and smoothly
Making sure you achieve what your customer wants

You can also bring along your own chosen design or image and reproduce it in large scale, and you will be guided through the practical aspects of painting a mural, including what paints to use, working to scale, the materials required and how to manage your time.

All levels of skill can be included on this workshop day, as a mural can be either an abstract dramatic statement piece or a detailed Trompe L'Oeil painting, a mural design can be striking at many different skill levels, plus its just extremely fun to do.

Price: £50.00 - 1-2 hour telephone mural business basic tutorial - if you are unable to travel to Cheshire for one of my workshops.
